Doctor of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine

After completing my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at York University, I went on to spend four and a half extensive years of training and study at the Michener Institute of Health & Applied Sciences, earning an Honours Diploma in Acupuncture in concordance with a degree of Complementary Medicine from Charles Sturt University of Australia. My internship sites included acupuncture clinics at Mount Sinai Hospital and St. John's Rehabilitation, as well as, the Toronto Centre for Acupuncture.

 Much of my practice has been devoted to promoting wellness and longevity, helping patients with ailments considered incurable by western standards.  I have always been amazed by the body's ability to heal itself and have found that with the proper techniques and healers, acupuncture becomes a conduit for leading or assisting the way. 

In my practice I have been able to help patients who have been involved in motor vehicle accidents, rehabilitative therapy, and preventative medicine.  I have also helped patients with issues ranging from disorders of infertility, depression and migraines, to acute and chronic injuries such as discogenic impairments, sciatica and musculoskeletal disorders. Additionally, I have developed various techniques of cosmetic acupuncture and facial rejuvenation, helping to release wrinkles and fine lines.  

I chose to practice at Vita Integrative Health because it chose me in every way to be part of an environment that promotes healing.  It encompasses all aspects of what Traditional Chinese Medicine identifies as being key to longevity and wellness.  This practice has allowed me as a healer to stretch my capabilities in an endless fashion to all of our patients.
