"my goal is for you to reach yours"
Nadia's passion to help people, achieve wellness, and reach peak performance, led her to Massage Therapy as a career.
She shares Vita's wellness approach and is dedicated to identifying and treating the underlying causes of physical disturbance, rather than only addressing its symptoms. "Posture and bio-mechanics appear to be the major source of most injuries and pain, it is important to look at the body as a whole to understand the symptoms experienced. Once the source has been identified, the journey to health involves dedication from both therapist and client: consistent care complemented with awareness, remedial exercises and small lifestyle changes can make the difference between temporarily feeling better and eventually getting better."
Her focus is in injury prevention and rehabilitation, specifically for runners and other athletes, however she is also interested in providing treatment for anyone interested in a journey to wellness. She provides Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitated stretching, joint mobilizations, hydrotherapy and fascial techniques. Each body is different and will respond differently to specific techniques, her goal is to find the ones that work best for you. She continues to expand her knowledge in techniques, sports physiology and myoskeletal pathologies.
Nadia is a runner in training and has completed many races in
